Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 1, 2024

Introduction

BlahajBytes ("we," "our," or "us"), a French app development company, operates the Retone application ("App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.

Summary

Retone is a voice training application designed with privacy at its core. The App:

  • Functions completely offline
  • Does not collect, store, or transmit any personal content (voice, text, or practice data)
  • Integrates optional anonymous feature-usage analytics solely to help improve the App (see Analytics below)

Analytics

We may collect anonymous feature-usage analytics (e.g., which screens/features are used and how often) to focus our development efforts and build a better App. No personal content or audio is sent to analytics. You can opt in or out at any time in Settings > Privacy & Analytics. Where legally required (e.g., EEA/UK), we will show a consent prompt and only enable analytics with your consent.

Device Permissions

The App may request the following permissions to provide its core functionality:

  • Microphone access: Required for voice analysis features
  • Storage access: Required to save settings locally on your device

These permissions are used exclusively within the App to provide the necessary functionality and are never used to collect or transmit personal content to us or any third parties.

Third-Party Services

The App does not include advertising networks or social SDKs. Analytics, if enabled, is used strictly for aggregated feature-usage metrics.

Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for users of all ages. We do not collect personal content from any users.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
